Insane 10.4-liter Chevy Pickup Does Wheel Stand

Long before the Silverado was introduced in 1998, Chevrolet had another successful work mule: the C/K series. Introduced in 1960 and retired in the late 1990s, the C/K became a legendary truck thanks to its first two generations. Available with both inline-six and V8 engines, the Chevy pickup received the large 6.6-liter mill in 1970.
Quite convenient in the musclecar era, but it seems that the 402 cubic inch powerplant isn't enough for Mic Sites, who uses his 1971 long-wheelbase version to burn rubber and run 7-second quarter-miles on the drag strip. Impressed? Wait till you head this! Mic's pickup doesn't use a turbo or supercharged engine as you might expect. His Chevy is powered by 10.4-liter big block on nitrous!

The huge aluminum unit combined with a series of weight-shedding upgrades makes this truck exactly how we like it - utterly fast and noisy. The fact that it can provide quarter-mile times worthy of newer and smaller vehicles makes it even better. Shame we can't see more footage of this awesome Chevy.
