Holden Special Vehicles is celebrating 25 years of existence and to celebrate, they just launched a brand new special edition GTS sedan that will hit the 2012 Sydney Motor Show in October.
The 25th Anniversary GTS gets special new 20-inch alloy wheels in Satin Graphite that reduce the weight of the vehicle by 22kg (49 pounds) over the standard GTS’s.

This cosmetic package also includes black finish for the front grille, hood scoop and side vents. The GTS also comes with special badges and logos outside and embroidered headrests.

The performance changes are limited to upgraded 6-piston brakes, since there is no extra power pulled from the 436 hp 6.2-litre V8 LS3 motor.

Only 140 of these 25th Anniversary GTS will be built, 125 for Australia and 15 more for New Zealand. Prices will start at AUD84,990.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
