Microsoft managed to get Grand Theft Auto V onto Xbox Game Pass this week, which means GTA Online is free for anyone to enjoy as long as you subscribe to the service on console. Sadly, PC Game Pass subs didn't get the game for some reason, so if your main platform is with a mouse and keyboard, check out the Steam Summer Sale. GTA V Premium Edition is currently $15. Just for kicks, Red Dead Redemption 2 is under $20.
Rockstar is hard at work on GTA VI, but that doesn't mean GTA Online isn't still getting love from the developer. Recently the devs introduced the San Andreas Mercenaries update, jam-packed with content and rewards. This week there's more money to be made with the new Project Overthrow update.

If you log in and download it, Double Rewards, Rare Events, Double Pay, and Agency Security Contracts are waiting for you, to name a few. Don't forget that the San Andreas Mercenaries Bonuses Event is approaching its peak, while Air Races is giving out bonus cash.

The Overthrow Missions are offering double GTA$ and RP. All you have to do is engage in Charlie Reed's special operations. You get three times the rewards if you're a GTA+ member.

Aircraft warfare is in full effect, and you'll have to parachute onto aircraft carriers, infiltrate secret military bases and call in airstrikes. Yep, just like in Call of Duty. All this, and you get Double Rewards for your patriotic efforts.

So how do you access these missions? From the Operations terminal upgrade inside the Mammoth Avenger. When you see Charlie in the Hangar, talk to him, or purchase the Operations Terminal through the Warstock Cache & Carry when you customize your Avenger. Once you do it, you can call Charlie from the road on your iPho... iFruit phone.

As for the San Andreas Mercenaries Bonuses Event, this is your final week to get those rare collectibles you always wanted. You need to complete four tasks before July 12 if you're going to claim the plentiful bounties they yield.

If you missed Franklin, here's your chance to see him again as part of the Security Contracts, which will also double down on your rewards for the next few days. To hop on these missions, you can select them from the Security Contract menu or call Franklin from Freemode. Don't forget to register as a Boss in the Interaction Menu beforehand.

Finally, Air Races will reward you twice the normal GTA$ and RP rates. It's also low profile, depending on who you ask. The only real question is whether you will be flying Inverted or Normal.

Remember to check out Simeon's Premium Deluxe Motorsport and the Luxury Autos Showrooms because they're packed with amazing-looking vehicles this week.
