Though RDX Racedesign won't provide any technical modifications, they believe the look of their bodykit will sell because it gives the Golf VI a sexier exterior design. RDX sells the components of the body kit separately or as a set, with detailed instructions for self assembly, TUV certification and two-year warranty.
The first element in the package is the headlight mask (49 euro including VAT). The headlights are delivered along with the required adhesive for an easy assembly. The second element offered by RDX Racedesign is the front spoiler extension (149 euro). The front spoiler gives the car a more race oriented look and has been created to be an easy fitting to the serial front bumper.
The side skirts feature a curved design in order to emphasize the car's dynamic appearance. The set for both sides costs 149 euro. The next piece in the set provided by the tuner is the rear skirt kit, whose grid inserts make way for the exhaust pipes on the left. The rear skirt kit cost another 149 euros and RDX offers the grid inserts in the aluminum versions silver, silver RS and black or as a black plastic grid.
The final piece from the RDX Racedesign package is the roof spoiler. Made from polyurethane (PU) the light piece comes with the appropriate adhesive so no holes have to be drilled in the car or any of the pieces. The roof spoiler has a price of 149 euro. RDX Racedesign promised a special discount for the first 50 customers to order the entire body kit, selling it for just 579 euro.
