Ford has teamed with Instagram and Facebook to launch a competition on the social media website that will provide European compact hatch fans the chance to win a brand new Fiesta.
The Fiestagram competition asks fans of the Instagram app on their iPhones to upload photos in a several categories inspired by the technologies and features of the Ford Fiesta. In each of the next six weeks, a new category will provide contestants with an opportunity to win in a prize. The final winner will be decided by a panel of judges and will receive a brand new Fiesta.
“We wanted to run a competition which would resonate with our Fiesta Facebook fans and the wider Instagram community,” said Roelant de Waard, vice president Marketing, Sales and Service, Ford of Europe. “Instagram has grown from nothing to 150 million photos in just nine months and we are looking forward to the participants in the #Fiestagram Photo Competition contributing their creativity to the 1.3 million Instagram images uploaded per day.”
