First Lexus LFA Owned by a Member of the Public on the Track

You might be tempted to say that the Lexus LFA isn’t all that great, since it’s already left the limelight, replaced by the likes of Ferrari’s 458 Italia and the new McLaren MP4-12C. Yet a quick look on some track records reveals that the mighty LFA is 14 seconds faster round the Nurburgring than these two competitors when equipped by a dedicated track package.
This particular car you see shot to perfection in a video by Zak Kerbelis is chassis number 003, the first to be delivered to a member of the public, as the other two were allegedly given to company insiders, according to Jalopnik, who first spotted the video.

The video of owner Roy giving the LFA a thorough trashing round the Road Atlanta race track in the US is one of the best and most moving we’ve seen in a while. The 560 hp V10 makes one of the most epic noises ever, and if you don’t believe us, just watch the video.
