Fiat’s quirky MPV, the 500L has just received its official pricing information for the UK, where it starts from £14,990. For the base price, you get a 1.4-liter engine, 5-inch touchscreen radio, Bluetooth connectivity, six airbags, ESP, cruise control and leather-wrapped gear knob and steering wheel.
Interesting to note is the fact that there are two base trims, called Pop Star and Easy, which cost exactly the same, yet offer specific features. Pop Star gets a body-coloured dash and 15-inch alloys, while Easy gets rear parking sensors, soft-touch dashboard and electric rear windows.
Opt for the top of the range Lounge model, and you will be treated to climate control, 16-inch alloys, side mouldings, rear parking sensors, electric rear windows, panoramic glass roof, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, fog lamps and a rear armrest. In this top spec, and fitted with a 1.6-liter MultiJet diesel engine with 105 hp, it costs £18,890, yet if you opt for the smaller 1.3-liter diesel, with 85 hp, the price only goes down by £100, so it`s really worth paying extra here.
