We have seen this so many times. The driver of the Ford Mustang loses control and crashes into a light pole, a crowd, or some guardrail. It happened once more, this time on the racetrack.
If we had a penny for every time we saw a Ford Mustang crashing, we'd be so rich we'd be smiling all the way to the bank. But we are not, so here is another crash that brings no penny, but it is guaranteed to put a smile on our faces. During a track day event, a driver slammed his muscle car painted in black with white racing stripes.

He must have thought that he was a pro racing driver himself. He came out of a corner and did an intentional spin, but the car stopped before coming out on the grass.

But it must have been the beginner's luck, and he should have stopped right there. He would have driven away with the crowd cheering. He seemed very persistent, though. So, he initiated a second attempt. But this time, he must have panicked, hit the brakes, and totally lost control. The slide failed, and the car ended up in the guardrail.

The driver took a couple of seconds to realize what he had just done, then reversed and went back to the tarmac. It is difficult to assess the damages from the angle of the video that was uploaded on TikTok. But it is obvious that the fifth-generation Mustang is going to need some TLC to get back in shape.

It’s probably not that bad, since the guardrail was not made of something solid and practically cushioned the impact. Luckily, this time, nobody was hurt except for the ego of the driver.

"Drives worse than my grandmother," someone wrote in the comments section of the TikTok post.

"Rear-wheel drive is not for everyone," someone else points out. Another user notes: "It just had to be a Mustang."

Ford Mustang crashes, nothing out of the ordinary

One of the latest Mustang crashes that we had reported involved an S650, and that one was much worse. The 2024 Ford Mustang GT, wearing a blue paintwork, lost traction on the drag strip while racing a Cadillac CTS-V and had a third-degree encounter with the fence. The brand-new muscle car was most likely a write-off. If the driver had a track insurance, that is. Otherwise, with that rumpled front and rear ends and smashed rear window, they are not getting anything from the insurance company.

And unfortunately, race tracks are not the only places such incidents happen. Back in September, we reported about a Ford Mustang going airborne and slamming into the wall of a house in Grand Terrace, California. The one behind the steering wheel did not even have a driver’s license. Luckily, nobody was injured in the accident.

Two weeks ago, in late October, the driver of a Ford Mustang hit an SUV while trying to run from the police. His muscle car had a  license plate that read 'WILL RUN.' He was reportedly involved in such police chases several times in October, and he had got away with it every time. The driver ended up arrested, so one thing is for sure: now, he 'WILL RUN' no more.
