The Bavarian automaker recently signed a battery supply deal with Rimac, but that's not the electrifying news M GmbH fans were looking for. Instead, they can't wait to get their hands on the latest products like the M5 saloon and Touring, right?
Yep, more than right – especially if they are just as exasperated by the incessant and never-ending teasing campaign as we are. Seriously, BMW, we all know that you're coming out with the seventh iteration of the magnificent high-performance of the 5 Series executive series. Get on with it and give us the goodies, already.

No worries, even if our patience is running thin on the back of teasers and spies with both the sedan and station wagon, at least the rumor mill isn't idle, and the imaginative realm of digital car content creators is backing them up creatively. So, here's yet another unofficial take on the G90 BMW M5 – the seventh by its name.

Everything started in the real world with the E28 BMW M5 back in 1984, so no less than six generations later and forty years, the 2024 anniversary of the high-performance variant needs to come out to play and give a headache to rivals like the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, Audi RS 6 Avant, or the Mercedes-AMG E 63 S E Performance. Again, no worries, there's enough for everyone as the Bavarians are making both sedans and station wagons this time, and the bonkers M5 Touring is even coming to America!

Back on the Old Continent's parallel universes of vehicular CGI, Avante, the UK-based digital creator behind avantedesigns_ on social media, has taken a CGI swing at BMW's upcoming M5 high-performance variant. His imagined G90 version felt a lot less cringy than anything presented until now when dressed in ritzy gray or burgundy shades, for sure, and his unofficial take on the matters looked more impressive than other attempts from fellow pixel masters.

However, that wasn't enough – the CGI expert decided to up the ante and also give us his hypothetical G90 BMW M5 Touring design project to show us that he could do even better. Frankly, I don't even have much to say about the virtual styling – it's so neat and clean that I would give up an arm and a leg to have it stopped in my driveway. Alas, this is merely wishful thinking, so beauty is always in the eye of the beholder.

Just in case you don't agree with this apparition, Ildar, the virtual artist better known as ildar_project on social media, has once more played with his unofficial G90 BMW M5 and recently came up with the Forged Carbon Fiber Edition tucked on aftermarket wheels. So, now that you have the luxury of choice, which is your favorite?
