Oregon-based tiny house company TruForm Tiny is one of those builders that like to experiment and innovate with each new home they create, and their latest Urban Payette model is a great example.
This 28-foot (8.5-meter) tiny home is a blend of elegance, style, and functional living, offering an urban take on a classic layout. It is built on a triple-axle trailer and exudes sophistication through all its pores. The sleek and modern exterior design eschews the typical shiplap siding for something more contemporary - black and gray metal siding, which gives it a clean, industrial look. Other architectural details that draw the eye on the exterior are the small awning over the front door and the asymmetrical gabled roof.

The interior of the recently completed model combines coziness with urban chic, and we recognize the same simplicity and clean lines throughout, accompanied by large windows that invite natural light inside. There is a total of 453 square feet (42 square meters) of living space, including the dual lofts, and despite the minimalist design, the interior proves that less space doesn't necessarily mean less style.
Moreover, it packs all the amenities of traditional homes within a smaller space, thus allowing owners to get all the benefits of downsizing without compromising on comfort. The designers chose a classic tiny house layout with the living area, kitchen, and bathroom on the ground floor, plus two lofted areas - one serving as a bedroom and one as a storage space. But the Urban Payette has an ace up its sleeve, as the layout also includes a downstairs sleeping nook, perfect for those who want to avoid climbing stairs to go to bed.
Upon entering, you can't stop but be impressed by the high ceilings, hardwood floors, soft textures, and elegant fixtures, all of which combine to create a stylish space. All finishes are high-end, giving this THOW a luxurious feel. Elaborate architectural details aren't missing either, a nice inclusion being the exposed wood beams that add character and a rustic charm to the otherwise modern interior.

The single entrance door opens into the cozy living area that accommodates a comfortable sofa and a small center table. A flat-screen TV can be mounted on the wall to provide entertainment in the evening. The sofa's strategic placement in front of a large window allows inhabitants to take in beautiful views of the surroundings.
The seamlessly flowing open-plan layout on the main floor continues with the kitchen, which boasts custom green cabinetry, some open shelves, and efficient appliances. Though modest in size, it offers ample counter space for meal preparation, while its functionality is ensured by a stainless steel sink with nesting cutting board, an oven, a two-burner cooktop, a range hood for ventilation, and a retro refrigerator/freezer.
The common area also includes a chic round dining table with seating for three people right next to the kitchen. It's a nice spot to enjoy a cup of coffee or a good meal with friends.
The downstairs bedroom is placed to the left of the entrance door and hides behind a barn-style door. To be honest, it looks more like a cozy sleeping nook rather than a full-fledged bedroom, but it does have room for a queen-size bed and plenty of integrated storage space. Offering storage space is also the purpose of the loft lying above the bedroom.

The second bedroom inside Urban Payette is in the loft space above the bathroom. Actually, this is a flexible space that the owner can use depending on their needs. It can be appointed as a sleeping space, a home office, or additional storage. It can be accessed via a removable ladder and is protected by a wood-slat wall.
When used as a bedroom, this loft can accommodate a double bed and a storage cabinet. The bed is flanked by large windows that overlook the surrounding cityscape.
The bathroom is quite spacious and functional. Besides the basic facilities - toilet, sink, shower stall - it also includes a washer/dryer unit and plenty of storage space. High-end finishes and modern fixtures ensure the bathroom feels as luxurious as the rest of the house.
For those who have already fallen in love with the Urban Payette, the tiny house on wheels is available for sale for $165,450. It's on the pricey side, but you will surely get more than your money's worth, as the model offers all the amenities of a larger home in a more compact and efficient package.
