The result of the second testing day at the Sepang circuit in Malaysia are here, and they're pretty much the same as the ones yesterday's tests have turned out, at least for the first positions. Honda's Dani Pedrosa was once more faster than Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo.
Lorenzo was only 0.019s slower, but the rankings speak for themselves. Pedrosa's team mate Marc Marquez came in the third position just like yesterday, almost a quarter of a second faster than the other Yamaha star Valentino Rossi.
If we were to pass some judgement based on these two days of testing, we might say that Honda's rookie has more to him than meets the eye... but the 2013 season hasn't even started yet so we'll refrain from early estimations.
The Ducati bikes did not shine at all, barely making it to top 10 with Dovizioso. Nicky Hayden was 11th, while the two Pramac Ducatis finished the day in positions 13 (Ben Spies) and 15 (Andrea Iannone). Not the best of pre-season results for Ducati, but still... it's only the beginning.
Ioda Suter-BMW's Pesek came in the last position, even worse than yesterday, but we still have to find out what went wrong. Results after the jump.
