Tiny house builders have mastered the art of looking beyond the obvious size limitations of compact dwellings to unlock their potential as affordable, sustainable, and comfortable housing solutions for a minimalist lifestyle. Balanced proportions, a clever layout, and essential amenities have turned some tiny home designs into instant icons. A perfect example is the Clear Creek model by Tiny Idahomes.
Remaining true to the spirit of tiny living and minimalism, the Clear Creek model is only 28 feet (8.5 meters) in length but is able to offer a unique and fulfilling way of life by expertly intertwining functionality, comfort, and style. This is a versatile model that the Caldwell, Idaho-based company can customize and transform into your dream tiny home.

Tiny Idahomes specializes in crafting quality small dwellings that provide comfort and modern conveniences, and each unit they build is customized to meet the client's needs and reflect their personality. The Clear Creek tiny is one of the most popular models in their portfolio, already owned by many tiny dwellers out there, and a true testament to the team's craftsmanship.

The particular unit you see pictured here is owned by Gleen and Darcy, a couple who reached out to the company for a custom version of this iconic model with modern touches and an inviting ambiance.

This is one of those small living spaces that help bust misconceptions that tiny houses lack amenities and moving into one would imply renouncing luxuries. By embracing vertical living with lofted areas and integrating clever storage solutions, this custom Clear Creek unit proves that small spaces can be incredibly functional. The layout boasts a generous living room that can be turned into a cozy lounge where owners can entertain their guests and a big kitchen where they can cook gourmet meals. Moreover, the two lofts are spacious and bright, offering cozy spaces to sleep.

Beautiful and modern inside and out, this custom Clear Creek is decorated in soothing neutral tones and draws you in right away. It features elegant tongue-and-groove stained cedar cladding on the exterior with black and white trim around the windows and the entrance door.

The owners decided to keep the cedar siding unpainted to show the wood's natural beauty, and a durable green standing seam metal roof and full 80" Kinro double paned windows complete the design.

The same sense of simplicity and elegance is found inside the home, where a simple color palette of white, gray, and natural wood is easy on the eyes and creates a clean, serene ambiance. The white shiplap walls are coupled with one sheet of vinyl flooring in a beautiful caramel gray hue and natural wood ceilings. This clutter-free interior is a blank canvas for the owners to furnish and decorate to reflect their tastes and lifestyle, but it looks plenty homey and inviting as it is.

A full-light door with built-in blinds leads directly into a spacious and luminous living room that customers can configure as they wish. It is roomy enough to fit a comfy couch, a side table, and a TV to turn it into a cozy space for relaxation. Moreover, this part of the house benefits from plenty of natural light due to the surrounding windows and delights inhabitants with beautiful views.

A fold-down table attached to a side wall is a smart choice to create a small dining spot between the lounge and the kitchen without taking too much space. When not in use, it neatly tucks away, maximizing the room's functionality.

A lovely kitchen with custom cabinetry and walnut laminate countertops dominates the center of the house. It comes complete with the ever-so-popular farmhouse sink, a Furrion stainless steel range, and a full-size fridge/freezer, giving owners everything they need for prepping their favorite meals.

Everything is cleverly laid out for ease of use, and the white cabinets and subway tile backsplash are beautifully contrasted by the gray countertop.

Opposite the kitchen, a massive staircase with pine stairs stained in Carbon Grey takes up a good chunk of the main floor area. Its main function is to provide access to the main loft, but it also doubles as storage, with a generous built-in closet.

The loft is cozy and bright, perfect for a couple's bedroom. It fits a full-size bed, and though it doesn't offer full standing height, it is spacious enough thanks to the vaulted ceilings. It also includes a privacy wall, creating an intimate atmosphere perfect for winding down after a long day.

There is also a six-foot secondary loft with hanging ladder above the living room that can be used either as a guest sleeping space or as a storage solution for larger personal items.

The bathroom downstairs is modern and elegant, packing all the facilities of everyday life. Though compact, it fits a spacious fiberglass shower with built-in seating, a toilet, a vanity with sink, a medicine cabinet, plus a custom cabinet nestled in seamlessly in a corner.

Built to last with quality materials and great attention to detail, this custom Clear Creek tiny home is perfectly equipped for long-term living and serves as a fine example of how versatile compact dwellings can be.
