Chevrolet had no idea the C/K line of pickup trucks will be supporting an entire industry decades after the family was born. Thanks to a single representative, the half-ton C10, C/K is experiencing a continued and sustained stardom, helping custom businesses survive and collectors fulfill their dreams.
As part of autoevolution’s various coverages throughout November and well into the current month, we’ve covered the C10 side of the custom industry quite extensively. We’ve seen tons of pickup-based builds come and go, some impressive, others less so, but each with a story to tell.

Today’s C10 – it seems we’re featuring them on a daily basis – is one of those old pickups that were given another shot at life by a garage in the U.S. This one went for a casual body restoration, backed by rather impressive, pro-touring-oriented changes underneath.

The truck is animated by a rebuilt 350-ci (5.7-liter) engine of unspecified output. The powerplant works with an Edelbrock intake, Holley carburetor, and breathes through a Magnaflow exhaust.

The blue body and engine sit on a chassis that was reworked with parts from Classic Performance Products (CPP). We’re talking about things like upgraded front and rear coil springs, new shocks and sway bars, a steering linkage kit, and a power steering box.

As for its looks, the builders went for the classic approach and did not change the lines on the exterior. Enough care seems to have been put in upgrading the interior with the fitting of black leather seats, a center console, and a clean dashboard.

Despite all of the above, you’d have to be a collector or really like old pickup trucks to go for this one, considering it costs more than most new cars out there. $49,900 is how much the selling dealer is asking for it, promising “you could hop in this truck and drive it anywhere, and the bottom is clean enough to eat off of.”
