As you know, I love exploring a good RV or motorhome, and recently, I ran across an American crew that's actually been in this business since 1967! Newell Coach is their name, and considering the level of craftsmanship these people spit out, I feel like I've been sleeping on the job; I don't know how I missed this one.
Folks, the name Newell may be very new to you, as it is to me, but that doesn't change the fact that this luxury motorhome manufacturer has been active since 1967. Actually, we can consider Newell to be one of those teams you only meet when you're in the market for something special, like a yacht. If you think of it, land yacht is a very good description of what this crew can spit out. Buckle up, sell the house, and let's see what we're in for here.

Now, if you're ever in the market for a luxury motorhome and run across Newell as one of your options, there are a few things you need to be aware of. The first is their ability to craft each new unit with the utmost attention and care; everything is hands-on for this crew.

That said, they create and sell new units in one of two ways. The first is, by their own initiative, in the process, whipping up just a few new units each year that buyers can snag on a whim. For the 2024 year, four units have been built, and, funny enough, three months into this year, those are already sold. You'll have to give them a call to see what else they may have in store for this year, assuming you're looking for a turnkey unit. This is the quickest way to get your hands on a Newell.

Option number two is the long way home, but also the one that lets you create the precise dream machine you've been looking for. I'm talking about giving Newell a call, heading down to their headquarters in Oklahoma, and creating a tailored RV every step of the way. Sure, you'll be kicking back for quite some time until it's ready to hit the road, but the wait is sure to be worth it.

As for the remainder of this short literary piece of RV illumination, I invite you to explore the interiors and exteriors Newell showcases to the world. I've added some images of the units that have been sold this year and also some that you can't find but that you can someday own. Go ahead, pick a few of your favorite shots, and let's drool over what we see.

First off, let me point out those immaculate exteriors. By the looks of things, fiberglass is king for Newell, and they do one hell of a job at manipulating it into a roof, sidewalls, and front and rear caps. Did you happen to notice that every rolling home has slide-outs in place? Oh, and if it's storage you want, in classic motorhome style, the lower half of each habitat includes storage bays for systems, gear, toys, and tools. Be sure to check out those awesome outdoor galley setups. But it's the interior of these babies that really got my visual cortex buzzing, so let's head inside.

Now, when I first saw the interiors that Newell can create, my first reaction was to raise my eyebrows in surprise. I mean, how can you not sit back and marvel at spaces that look like they've been ripped out of a mansion? Just check out the living space of that 2024 p50 with its cream leather furnishings, rugged flooring, and ceiling that just screams money. Or, how about that black p50, with its granite countertops and tables and stitched seating?

One aspect of design that I found separates Newell from quite a number of other RV manufacturers is the whole rounded look to the edges of wardrobes, bathroom walls, and some kitchen cabinetry. It's a look that European manufacturers are known for, and aside from looking absolutely gorgeous, the way Newell arranges each interior gives us this effect that each space just flows into the other.

For a moment, take time to picture yourself living out of one of these babies. Wake up, make some coffee and breakfast, do a bit of reading, squeeze in some work, maybe even throw a load of laundry into the washer, and once you're done with all that, open the doors to your mobile mansion, grab those e-bikes from one of the storage bays, and ride around some vineyard, scooping up like after like on Instagram. Have lunch on some hill and enjoy the setting sun of another day.

Upon your return, your Newell motorcoach will be there waiting for you with batteries recharged, interiors warm and cozy, and features at the ready to help you clean up, eat some more, watch some TV, listen to some music, and rest those tired bones. The next day, collapse those slide-outs, fire up the old diesel, and get moving onto the next destination, like a super-fast turtle with the most Cribs-worthy shell.

Oh, and just so we're on the same page here, most of us may have to actually sell our landlocked homes just to own one of these babies. New 2024 units are priced at over $2.4M (€2.2M at current exchange rates). Oh, and Newell is working on 2025 units as we speak, so you better get started on that financial plan if you want one of these.
