Barn finds are pretty much all over the web, and finding an affordable muscle car that you can buy for only a few thousand dollars isn’t really the hardest thing to do.
But coming across a 1970 complete Dodge Charger that still has both the original paint and the original keys isn’t something that happens too often.
A barn find in all regards, the ‘70 Charger that you see here has been parked since the ‘80s, according to the owner who recently took to eBay to sell the car.
“It has the original paint and it’s complete with the original keys,” the listing on eBay reads.
As far as the condition of the car goes, it’s very clear right from the photos that some restoration would obviously be needed, but the owner says they never tried to start the engine, so the Charger just stayed there without anybody touching it.
The only thing it’s missing is the fender tag, but otherwise, the car comes with components that appear to be in a good condition.
“Front frame is not bad at all, [it] needs the rear rails and trunk panel along with other metal work and a lot of time and love,” the owner explained. “Grille is in great shape, no cracks in it at all. VIN tag on dash [is in] very nice shape,” they added, before emphasizing “it’s a complete 1970 Charger.”
The car was sold recently for $7,001 on eBay, and there’s a good chance it’d get a full restoration because that’s why most people buy muscle cars in the first place. The owner itself admits that the car needs the restoration, so with a little luck, we’ll hear more about how everything goes with bringing this Charger back to life in the coming months from the new owner.
