Back when we saw the very first photos of the 2015 Chrysler 200 sedan, we said to ourselves that the Pentastar had finally managed to create a vehicle that's able to drag the company away from the dull image it has drawn to itself the past decades.
And that's because Chrysler ultimately decided that the 200 needs to be created on a clean sheet of paper and set the tone for a new design language. It should've happened long ago if you ask us, but better late than ever, right?
In case you were curious to find out what Chrysler has to say about the 200's brand new representation, the manufacturer just released a video in which head of brand design Brandon Faurote briefly explains what it's all about.
Apparently, some of the company's main goals was to ditch the traditional three-box shape, which they successfully did, and put a fast-looking profile to it, the latter very common in today's automotive industry. We've already expressed our excitement towards the new 200, but we'll let you enjoy the video and decided for yourselves.
As a reminder, the 2015 Chrysler 200 made its public debut at the Detroit Auto Show and we already have a batch of live photos for your viewing pleasure.
