Despite being quite old now, the pre-facelift Clio RS III, the 197, is a very desirable car to own, especially if you plan on having a Nurburgring adventure. One owner decided the stock configuration wasn’t enough and went to famed German hardcore tuner Cam Shaft, who transformed the little roadrunner into a scary machine.
Handling has been sharpened using a coil-over suspension from H&R. Stopping power has also been boosted tremendously by using a system stolen from the mental Mehane RS R26R, which for a while was the fastest FWD production car in the world.
The 197’s engine has been boosted to 225 PS by adding an ECU remap and a sports air filter from K&N.
The look of the Clio RS has not been left untouched, as it’s been re-visualized using a matte Graphite Metallic wrap with acid green touches. The stock 17-inch wheels have also been done in the same color and shod in semi-slick Kumho 215/45 tires.
