If you looked at the image above and thought about the wackiness of the Internet, well, you were on the right track. These days, no machine is safe from the rendering realm's crazy side, which is how we ended up with the Bugatti-Toyota face swap.
The visual shenanigan comes from an Russian Instagram account and there's much more to it than this white-on-black Chiron proudly sporting the front fascia of the Toyota Camry.
Heck, a (really, really) untrained eye might just be convinced this contraption is real or at least a replica. If you want to know what I'm no about, just scroll down. You'll get to see a black Chiron sporting the same kind of front end conversion and I haven't even gotten to the icing on the cake.
That title goes to the "historical proof" that the dream is real - a render portraying the "predecessor" of this contraption, namely a Bugatti Veyron with a face swap involving an older version of the Toyota Camry.
On a more serious note, this pixel melange comes to prove a few things. For instance, the Toyota design language has become aggressive enough for such a swap - it's no secret that the aggression level of the average car's front end has grown over the years, as everybody wants a bad boy, even if it's got a modest hybrid powertrain behind that angry grille.
Then there's the brilliance of the Molsheim styling: even after such a dramatic alteration, the overall look of the machine still pleases the eye, at least from where I'm standing.
Nevertheless, none of the pixels sitting before us can beat the real world when it comes to ruining the Bugatti badge. I'm talking about those awful replicas trying to pass as actual Bugs. Many of them are based on FWD machines and here's an example for you.
