Brabus Turns Porsche 911 Turbo S Into the 900 Rocket R, Can You Guess the Horsepower?

Having tested the waters last year with an open-top version of the Porsche 911 Turbo S, boasting 820 ps (808 hp/603 kW), Brabus has now given its coupe sibling even more power, as well as a makeover inside and out.
Meet the new Brabus 900 Rocket R, which is part of a limited edition capped at 25 copies worldwide. It sports a tuned 3.8-liter flat-six, which features new turbos, an exhaust system, and a few other things, kicking out a whopping 900 ps (887 hp/662 kW), or 250 ps (246 hp/184 kW) more than the standard Porsche 911 Turbo S Coupe. The thrust is 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft), and the tuner claims it can do 0-100 kph (0-62 mph) in 2.5 seconds. To preserve the new rubber, the top speed was electronically capped at 340 kph (211 mph).

Speaking of the tires, these are Continental's SportContact7, measuring 255/45 at the front and 335/45 at the rear. They were wrapped around the 9.5x21-inch front and 12x22-inch rear Monoblock P Platinum Edition wheels with Carbon Aerodisk. The Brabus brake design is part of the aftermarket makeover, and the tuner also gave the supercar a height-adjustable sports suspension. As for the exhaust system mentioned above, it was made of Inconel and has electronically-controlled valves. The coming home mode is available in the closed position, and those who want to experience the more sonorous soundtrack can engage Sport.

At the front, the 911 Turbo S by Brabus has a lip spoiler that can be controlled from the cabin to enhance the downforce at high speeds. The bumper features air intake carbon surrounds, and the car has wide fenders and fatter side skirts. The stock rear wing made room for a bigger part. The diffuser is more pronounced, it has four round exhaust tips, and the Porsche lettering between the taillights was replaced by a Brabus emblem. Brabus also gave it carbon fiber side mirror covers, and the entire exterior sports a black finish with the occasional visible carbon fiber add-on.

The same hue dominates the cockpit that was reupholstered in leather with honeycomb quilting stitched together with black string and decorated by black piping. The dashboard, door cards, center console, and floors feature the same fine material, and the pillars and headliner were wrapped in Alcantara. Brabus' logo can be seen on different parts, and stuff such as the backlit entry sills, carbon trim, aluminum pedal pads, and footrest complete the redesign.

For the 911 Turbo S turned into the 900 Rocket R, Brabus is asking an eye-watering €549,192.38, including tax, or almost $600,000 at today's exchange rates. That's about as much as the rumored MSRP of the brand-new Lamborghini Revuelto in the United States.
