American rock icon Bob Dylan will star in a new commercial for Chrysler, Billboard reports, adding that the artist will appear in a Super Bowl spot that advertises the company’s brand new 200 model.
Quoting multiple sources with knowledge of the campaign, the aforementioned source says the commercial will also feature an yet unidentified track from Dylan’s repertory. Spokespersons for both the Detroit-based automaker and Bob Dylan declined comment.
Last year, Chrysler used Bod Dylan’s 1962 “Motherless Children” track for the “Built Free” commercial that advertised the all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee.
The Super Bowl XLVIII, disputed by the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos, is scheduled to kick off Sunday. The Big Game will include ads from Ford, Chevrolet, Jaguar, Kia, Toyota, Audi and Hyundai.
