It took Peugeot some two months to bring the all-new e-3008 (EV) and 3008 (ICE) to the United Kingdom, but they have finally opened the order books for both models, which are the same car beneath the skin, albeit with different powertrains.
Peugeot expects the new e-3008 electric crossover coupe to become popular, and they are offering it in two trim levels, called the Allure and GT. The former starts at £45,850 (equaling $57,424), and the latter can be ordered from £49,650 ($62,183).

According to the French car manufacturer, the entry-level spec comes with rear parking sensors joined by a reversing camera, 19-inch alloys, an electrochromic rearview mirror, a wireless smartphone charging pad, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dynamic front seats with quartz-stitched fabric, a dual-zone climate control system with a quick-launch function, and a massive 21-inch curved display mixing the digital gauges and the infotainment system.

Upgrading to the GT version of the all-new Peugeot e-3008 means enjoying additional gear. It features pixel LED headlights, a black diamond roof, 20-inch wheels, and a hands-free electric tailgate. On the inside, the top-of-the-line grade gets Alcantara upholstery, ambient lighting with eight colors, heated front seats and a heated steering wheel.

Peugeot's e-3008 (and the new 3008) is the first model to use the Stellantis STLA-M platform. The all-quiet model packs a single motor that generates 213 ps (210 hp/157 kW) and 343 Nm (253 lb-ft) of torque. The motor takes its power from a 73 kWh battery pack that supports fast charging. Juicing it up at a 160 kW connection from 20 to 80 percent takes 20 minutes, the company claims, and on a full charge, it has a WLTP-rated range of up to 525 km (326 miles).

Is the battery-electric version not to your liking? Fret not, as Peugeot saw it coming, so they are also offering their new compact crossover with a good-old internal combustion engine, albeit with partial electrification. The model is called the 2024 Peugeot 3008 and features a 1.2-liter PureTech gasoline engine rated at 136 ps (134 hp/100 kW), which is assisted by a 22 ps (21 hp/16 kW) electric motor and a 48-volt battery for increased efficiency and improved carbon dioxide emissions.

Are you curious how much you will have to fork out for the new 3008 in the United Kingdom? That will be £34,650 (equal to $43,396) so long as you stick to the entry-level Allure, or a minimum of £38,150 ($47,780) if you want the GT. That's right, the 2024 Peugeot 3008, aka the self-charging hybrid one, comes in the same trim levels as its all-quiet sibling. Not only that but it is equipped with the same features that vary depending on the selected grade.
