Italian automaker Alfa Romeo has unveiled the 4C Safety Car that will be introduced during this weekend’s FIM World Superbike Championship round at the Silverstone track.
Although no changes were made under the bonnet, which means the one-off 4C has 240 HP at its disposal, just like the standard model, the safety car has received a unique exterior paint job that features the red, white and green colors of the Italian flag.
The Alfa Romeo 4C will show up for the second time in the United Kingdom at this weekend’s Superbike race, after the sportscar made its dynamic debut at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
“Alfa Romeo is a proud sponsor of the FIM World Superbike Championship having been associated with the series for seven years now. As we prepare to launch the Alfa 4C here in the UK, it’s fantastic to be able to showcase this car to the public for a second time as it takes to the prestigious Silverstone circuit.”
