The brand new BMW safety car, based on the 2013 M6 is ready for service in the second half of this year’s MotoGP season. But you won’t have to wait that long to see the car, because it has already made its official debut at the head of a single-make fan race at the M Festival near the ‘Ring
The German automaker has released four low quality photos via the BMW M Facebook page showing the car at the event.

These photos reveal a new front bumper lip, a big bolt-on wing, side mirrors and a lightweight titanium race exhaust system from Akrapovic. Seeing as this is a safety car, a set of warning lights are place on top of the roof and bright, colorful livery is added, together with a roll cage and Recaro bucket seats inside.
