ACS Composite Aeropack Is Go for the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro

With the advent of the sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaro, the pony car game got hotter than ever before. But as we all know, the recipe can be improved with the right mods. The aerodynamic package developed by Canada-based company ACS Composite is a rather nice case in point.

The aerodynamic package featured in the rendering above will turn to fruition no later than the end of June. The component range covers all sixth-gen Camaro models (turbo four-banger, V6, SS) except for the supercharged ZL1.

More to the point, ACS Composite developed two types of splitters (one for the SS, one for the V6 and inline-four), winglets for all models, aeronautical deflectors for the SS, side rockers for all models, fender inserts, and a rear deck spoiler.

The rear deck spoiler will undoubtedly sell like hotcakes, there’s no doubt about that. Prospective customers will be happy to find out that the spoiler can be installed using the factory mounting pattern of the Camaro SS or Camaro RS. The aeronautical deflectors for the SS, on the other hand, promise to deliver “serious downforce and attitude.” It sure looks great, I can't argue with that.

As an OEM manufacturer, ACS Composite vows to deliver quality, style, and performance. Cool, but what about pricing? Well, all that’s known at the present moment is that Advanced Composite Specialties will announce the pricing for individual components and the full-blown Aeropack next week.

A rear deck spoiler developed by ACS Composite for the 2014 - 2015 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 costs $399, so don’t expect to pay an arm and a leg for the one designed for the sixth-gen Chevrolet Camaro.

In the meantime, you can check out a generous selection of go-faster mods for the fifth-gen Camaro, C6 and C7 Corvette, Cadillac ATS, Cadillac Escalade, and Fiat 500 Abarth on the ACS Composite website.
