It's been a while since we last heard about ABT Sportsline, but the renowned tuner is back, this time with a project that targets the hatchback and sedan versions of the Audi RS 3.
The two models boast a healthy power boost, some exterior add-ons that contribute to their elevated flair, new wheels, tweaked suspensions, and a few other things. The upgrades don't cost an arm and a leg, but more on that in a few moments.

First, let's see how powerful the tuned Audi RS 3 is, and that would be 454 hp (460 ps/338 kW) and 398 pound-foot (540 Nm) of torque. In case you forgot, the 2.5-liter five-banger produces 394 hp (400 ps/294 kW) and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque from the factory, so that's a 59 hp (60 ps/44 kW), and 30 lb-ft (40 Nm) jump.

According to ABT Sportsline, the modified RS 3 takes just 3.6 seconds to reach 62 mph (100 kph) from naught. This means that it is a hair quicker than the iconic Ferrari Enzo. The top speed has also increased from 155 mph (250 kph) to 186 mph (300 kph). This is said to be an upgrade that can be activated via the myABT smartphone app.

Is that not enough to quench your power thirst? Well, you won't have to reach out to another tuner for more oomph, as ABT has this aspect covered. The aftermarket specialist says that it can unlock 478 hp (485 ps/357 kW) from the car's 2.5L five-banger. It's unknown how quick the model is with this much power on tap, but we reckon the acceleration time could have dropped to 3.5 seconds.

Besides the oily bits, the tuner has also given the RS 3 Sportback and RS 3 Sedan a few exterior add-ons. These include the fender bits, the rear side skirt, and the rear spoiler, with the latter two featuring a carbon gloss look. The stainless steel matte black double-end tailpipes are also new and they measure inches (95 mm) in diameter, and the car rides on different 20-inch alloys wrapped in 245/30 tires.

ABT has also covered the suspension with new springs, though as an option, a height-adjustable kit is available alongside the anti-rollbars. Speaking of extras, ABT also has seat frame covers, dashboard covers, and new paddle shifters on this list, which add up to the start/stop switch cap, integrated entrance lights, and floor mats.

In terms of pricing, the entire standard package will set interested parties back €17,900 (equal to $19,175) in Germany. The installation costs another  €3,740 ($4,005), including tax, and it’s a TUV-approved work. We think these aftermarket goodies are well-deserved upgrades for the Audi RS 3, especially since the model has now become way punchier than the Mercedes-AMG A 45 S, which is king of the mega hatch class.
