A Mercedes-Benz is a Great First Date Car

In a story brought to you by good ol' Captain Obvious, who also partnered with the peeps from Europcar for the study bellow, it seems that no less than 32 percent of motorists believe that a Mercedes-Benz is a good car to make a best impression on a first date.
Part of the same study, it seems that practical station wagons – while awesome at hauling stuff around – are pretty much a no-no as a choice of car for a first date.

“Although we make judgements about people every day, this is magnified on a first date” said Ken McCall, Managing Director, Europcar UK Group. “But our research suggests that a winning smile and a set of Prestige wheels with wow factor could make sure there’s a good chance of a second date!”

When talking about “Prestige wheels”, Mr. McCall is obviously talking about the Europcar Prestige line of cars for hire, with a good number of them being premium vehicles wearing the three-pointed star badge on the hood.

As some of you know, Europcar is the leader in car hire services in Europe if we take their word for it, so if you want to woo a recent acquaintance on your very first date, renting a Benz from them might help in one way or another.

Actually owning a Mercedes-Benz would probably be better on the wallet in a longer haul, especially if you want to go on a second and third date with the same person. Obviously, liking you for yourself and not for your car is the way to go in the long run though, but maybe that's just us.
