This year has began quite good for the flagship sedan in the Mercedes-Benz range, as the S-Class just received the third award in 2014.
Not even thirty days have passed from the new year, so we are pretty curious how many it will have until it ends, as the S-Class model lineup will expand dramatically in the next months.

Voted by readers of the BusinessCar magazine, the new S-Class W222 was honored with the third Luxury Car of the Year Award this month, becoming a testament to the fact that each of its generations has become the best car in the world at its launch.

On top of that, the CLA C117 was a runner-up in the Business Car of the Year category, while Mercedes-Benz was highly commended in the Manufacturer of the Year category.

Mercedes-Benz has made a splash at the 2014 BusinessCar Awards that’s in-line with its growing fleet presence and influence, and it’s clearly a brand on the up,” said BusinessCar Editor Paul Barker. “The beautiful new CLA coming second in our headline Business Car of the Year category shows how far Mercedes has come, and the Highly Commended spot in our Manufacturer of the Year category illustrates that the company is now right in fleet consciousness, while the peerless S-Class’ Luxury Car of the Year victory endorses Mercedes’ quality and prestige.”
