If you ask Supercar Ron, the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato and Porsche 911 Dakar are the "very best, most fun, useful, and practical entries within the automotive world now." However, one is probably better than the other at questing for the perfect Christmas tree in 12 inches of fresh Utah snow, right?

The entire automotive world is enamored with crossovers, SUVs, and trucks right now. Consequently, the passenger car realm is suffering, and many segments are almost extinct or on the list of endangered species. Alas, that doesn't mean that we can't find solutions to the predicament.

Some automakers, for example, are not content with just rolling with the trends and are actively trying to save the lives of various passenger cars. Toyota, for example, reinvented the Crown series into an entire family that includes a traditional sedan, a crossover-like saloon, and a veritable crossover SUV. Dacia, a small East-European carmaker, has found a lot of success with its Stepway lineup of beefed-up models – the Sandero nameplate is constantly one of the top-sold models in Europe also because of that, not just its affordable pricing.

On the other hand, if you want to go to the other end of the MSRP spectrum, Porsche and Lamborghini also found the perfect solutions to the predicament. The German automaker launched last year at the Los Angeles Auto Show the 911 Dakar limited edition, an off-road-sized take on the 911 GTS with the same engine – a 3.0-liter flat-six with 473 hp and 420 lb-ft (569 Nm) of torque – but with performance capabilities on almost any terrain.

Lamborghini also seized the opportunity for its own limited series and transformed the aging mid-engine V10 Huracan into the all-terrain Sterrato, packing 602 horsepower and two inches of additional ground clearance compared to regular versions. After that, many people found another conundrum – which one should take home. Well, a Youtuber called Supercar Ron first bought a Sterrato, wrapped it in camouflage, and then twin-turbo-ed it to 1,000 horsepower before finally adding a traditional Rothmans-looking Porsche 911 Dakar to the garage, as well.

Now, to decide which one is better, the two off-road supercars were taken out in fresh Utah snow to quest for the perfect Christmas tree. Ultimately, they got it from somewhere and decided which of the two off-road-ish supercars was better in 'fresh 12 inches of powder.'

However, I will not spoil the fun of watching all the shenanigans. Besides, if you don't have snow where you live, this acts as a triple arousal. There's a Porsche 911 Dakar doing snow donuts, a Lambo Huracan Sterrato trying to keep up with it, and also loads of untraveled roads, as shown from the drone footage, all drenched in beautiful white snow!
