The Japanese automaker is currently in the midst of renewing its lineup for the 2024 model year, and we already know the MSRPs for some of the hottest and least wanted models from its stable.
Among the former, we could mention the 2024 Nissan Z Nismo simply because it's costlier than an arm and a leg yet still marginally cheaper than its direct rival, the 2024 Toyota GR Supra 45th Anniversary – not to mention more powerful. As for the latter, unfortunately, the Titan series is a fine example of not being the cool full-size pickup truck series on the block.

Even worse, we heard from across the rumor mill that Nissan is preparing to bid farewell to the series as the pickup might be dropped after the 2024MY. Allegedly, the mighty Titan and Titan XD will head off into the sunset at the end of the next model year, and the decision was officially confirmed to various news outlets following an internal memo getting spilled out in the open.

Apparently, the production of the 2024 Nissan Titan will end next summer at the company's factory in Canton, Mississippi, and in line with the "Ambition 2030 vision of an electrified future," they are transitioning the plant to EV manufacturing technology – two all-new, all-electric models will be produced there after the retooling is complete.

The good news is that Nissan won't cut any jobs at the location. At the same time, the bad one regards the entire lifespan of the full-size pickup truck, which has yet to really pick up the interest of American buyers across its two generations. First introduced in 2003, the current iteration came out in 2016 and received a significant overhaul in 2020 – all without any impact on the Toyota Tundra or the Big Detroit Three.

However, not everyone wants to see the Nissan Titan gone. Some people even take matters into their own hands to see that happen – or rather, at the tip of their CGI brushes as we are dealing here with the imaginative realm of digital car content creators. For example, the good folks over at the AutoYa info channel on YouTube have imagined the CGI looks of the unreleased and unannounced 2025 Nissan Titan XD pickup truck – complete with potential gas, diesel, hybrid, or EV powertrains.

Although the host knows very well about Nissan's allegedly official decision to end production soon and pull the plug on a new, third generation, the resident pixel master was still asked to imagine the potential looks of the next iteration. It follows the latest styling from the brand with new front and headlights, modified taillights, and a traditional choice of unofficial colors. Alas, if you ask us – it's a futile effort of the 'too little, too late' variety. But that's just our opinion, of course – as beauty is always in the eye of the beholder.
