Having taken the QX50 into the 2024 model year a couple of weeks ago, Infiniti has now done the same to the QX55. The model brings a few modest revisions and is slightly costlier compared to its predecessor.
Speaking of the novelties, Nissan's premium car marque says the 2024 QX55 features an updated center console. The gear shifter and cupholder were also revised, and the wireless charging pad is now standard, just like the rear door alert.

Infiniti’s 2024 QX55 is offered in three trim levels. The lineup kicks off from $50,000 with the Luxe, which makes it $850 more expensive than its predecessor. The base model features leather-appointed seats with electric adjustment for the driver and front passenger, dual-zone climate control, an 8-inch upper and a 7-inch lower screen, Apple CarPlay, and 20-inch alloys with a dark look.

Paying at least $54,950 before destination unlocks the mid-spec variant of the crossover. It is called the QX55 Essential and features all of the above and then some. Here, Infiniti mentions the cube-design LED headlights, heated steering wheel, navigation system, Bose premium audio, traffic sign recognition, around view monitor, and moving object detection.

If you want the best from your 2024 Infiniti QX55, then you will have to upgrade to the top-of-the-line trim level. The QX55 Sensory starts at $58,500 (all prices exclude the $1,195 destination and handling charge), bringing a head-up display, three-zone climate control, enhanced ambient lighting, heated rear seats, semi-aniline leather upholstery, and black open-pore maple wood interior trim.

Power still comes from the same engine. It is a 2.0-liter mill with turbocharging that produces 268 horsepower (272 ps/200 kW) and 280 pound-feet (380 Nm) of torque. All grades feature the brand's standard all-wheel-drive system that can direct up to half of the thrust to the rear wheels, and the XTRONIC transmission with downshift rev-matching and paddle shifters delivers the thrust to both axles.

Drivers can select between different modes, including the Standard, ECO, Sport, and Personal. The EPA-estimated fuel economy is 22 mpg (10.7 l/100 km) in the city, 28 mpg (8.4 l/100 km) on the highway, and 25 mpg (9.4 l/100 km) combined.

Besides the QX50 and QX55, Infiniti has also taken the QX60 and QX80 in the new model year. The former has an MSRP of $49,650, and the latter starts at $74,150. Discontinued after the 2022 model year, the Q60 still appears on the automaker’s official US website with a starting price of $42,250, excluding destination. This could mean that there are still a few copies left in dealer lots. As for the Q50, it is listed as a 2023 model with an MSRP of $42,650 and tops off the Japanese marque's offering in our market.
