At the end of the day, we all love special-edition models, don’t we?
A little while back, Husqvarna unveiled the Rockstar Edition variants for the 2021 TE 300i and FE 350. Contrary to what some gearheads might be inclined to assume, these bad boys aren’t just about groovy racing graphics and cosmetics. Instead, they feature a selection of mechanical upgrades that’ll bring a significant improvement in the performance department.

Now, that’s cool and all, but it would appear that Husky is just getting started! A few days ago, the manufacturer proceeded to reveal a new model that manages to outshine the aforementioned siblings on every level – the MY ‘21 FC 450 Rockstar Edition. Let’s take a minute to dive in and check this thing out, shall we?

The very first thing you’ll notice is that iconic Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing livery enveloping the bike’s bodywork. Underneath, the standard FC 450 frame is tasked with holding everything in place, while front suspension duties are taken good care of by a pair of top-grade WP XACT forks that promise to make miracles in the handling department.

Additionally, this beast will come equipped with Husky’s Connectivity Unit, which enables the rider to adjust engine and suspension settings remotely via the myHusqvarna app. As such, the special-edition FC 450 will adapt to changing terrain with ease. In terms of powertrain upgrades, the 450-cc single-cylinder SOHC mill received a state-of-the-art hydraulic clutch module from Brembo.

On that note, we’ll remind you that the four-stroke engine is fed by a Keihin electronic fuel injection with a 44-mm (1.73-in) throttle body. A five-speed transmission hands the powerplant’s oomph over to the rear 19-inch wheel by means of a chain final drive. Lastly, you will find CNC-machined triple clamps, an FMF Racing Factory 4.1 muffler, and ProTaper aluminum handlebars that wear ODI grips. Also part of the package are a Rekluse clutch cover and a GUTS Factory saddle.

Husqvarna’s FC 450 Rockstar Edition is expected to hit dealerships later this month. However, the company's website doesn’t offer any information on pricing, so we’d encourage you to get in touch with your local dealer for more details.
