2017 Mazda MX-5 Miata RF Launch Edition Priced from $33,850, Can Be Pre-Ordered

Even though prices start at an eye-watering $33,850 for the manual and $34,925 for the automatic, all 1,000 units will likely be grabbed in moments. Let's not forget that the 2015 MX-5 25th Anniversary Edition sold out in just 10 minutes when it went on sale in 2014.

The pre-order site for the RF, which you can check out at MX5RFPreorder.com, is going to launch today. But select Miata owner are going to be shown the car, and we can't imagine any of them will say "no" to the sexiest 2-seater Mazda has ever made.

All the RF Launch Edition models will be based on the Grand Touring top trim level and will feature a Machine Gray Metallic paint color and Auburn Nappa leather interior trim with a hand-painted black roof panel. The latter features represent an exclusivity for the launch edition, but we think the RF would look good in any color.

Everyone who expresses his desire to own the Retractable Fastback needs to place a $500 deposit. However, it's refundable, so no worries there. Also, buyers will also receive a custom-designed, serialized 42mm Tourneau watch to complement the purchase.
