Ford Motor Company has released a new video featuring the 2015 Mustang Convertible, a vehicle the company has been bragging about the past few days. In case you missed it, Ford already showcased the drop top’s new retractable roof and explained the subtle styling cues that set the convertible and the fastback apart.
If you’ve already read the aforementioned article, then you’ll notice that the video below is pretty familiar. And you’d be right about that. Things will change, however, once you turn up your speakers. That’s because the new video comes with an entirely different soundtrack - the annoying music was replaced by the Mustang GT’s lovely V8 symphony.
Before you scroll below for the video, you should know that the 2015 Mustang convertible received a brand new top that can be folded in the trunk in half the time compared to the current-generation pony. It now uses an electromechanical drive system that needs about 6-7 seconds to let the wind run through the driver’s hair, and it’s all demonstrated in the this video here.
In related news, the 2015 Mustang will be on display at the Geneva Motor Show over the next 12 days. It’s the perfect chance to get personal with it if you missed the grand unveiling event in Barcelona last December.
