Aston Martin is bringing the latest incarnation of its racing-inspired N series car to this year’s Geneva Motor Show. We are talking about the Aston Martin N430 and we’ve got a live video of the sports car for you.
This is offered both in Coupe and Roadster form, with the clip showing us the first. The car looks to the GT4 racing class for inspiration, being 20 kg (44 lbs) lighter than the standard model. In order to achieve this, the V8 Vantage features carbon fiber parts and Kevlar seats, together with forged wheels.
The carbon details are offered for both the cabin and the exterior of the Aston Martin. In addition, Aston allows customers to choose between multiple liveries, one of which you can see in the clip, which comes from Youtube user Shmee 150.
The aim was to make the car more responsive, so they also sharpened the steering and touched the suspension. The list of technical changes also includes a sports exhaust for the already vocal V8 engine.
Speaking of the V8, the 4.7-liter unit delivers 436 HP at 7,300 rpm, the kind of power you’ll find in a V8 Vantage S. You can choose between a six-speed manual gearbox and a seven-speed Sportshift transmission.
The V8 Vantage N430 is accompined by another set special editions in Geneva, the DB9 Carbon Editions.
