Japanese automaker Honda has announced full pricing information for the 2014 Odyssey minivan. Redesigned ahead of the 2013 New York Auto Show, the new Odyssey will arrive in Honda dealerships on July 2, with prices from $28,825, excluding tax and $830 destination fee.
Fitted for the very first time with Bluetooth connectivity, 4-way power passenger seat, Expanded View Driver’s Mirror and Pandora interface as standard, the 2014 Odyssey is available in five trim levels, starting with the base LX and going up to the range-topping EX-L Touring Elite version which has a $44,450 price tag.
Under the hood, the 2014 Odyssey has received the familiar 3.5-liter V6 engine rated at 248 HP and 250 lb-ft of torque. However, Honda claims new updates allow the unit to return best-in-class fuel efficiency for all trim levels. All versions come with six-speed automatic transmissions as standard.
Equipped with several safety and convenience features, the range-topping Odyssey Touring Elite gained the first minivan in-vehicle vacuum cleaner system. Named HondaVAC, it operates on the vehicle's 12-volt electrical system and it’s stored in the rear cargo area of the vehicle.
