The US will receive only 2 models at first, in 2014. The entry-level model will be the 228i, fitted with a 245 HP 2-liter turbo engine, that will start at USD33,025 on the North American continent. This price tag will include the awesome 8-speed automatic gearbox with launch control.
The second model to hit the American market will also be the first M Performance vehicle to arrive across the Atlantic, the M235i. Powered by a 326 HP 3-liter turbo petrol engine, this car will start at USD44,025 and will feature the same gearbox as standard, with which it reaches 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.8 seconds.
Both prices include the USD925 handling and shipping tax.
