Unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, the new Alfa Romeo 4C is far from being launched. Or at least this is what we can assume since the Italian automaker has yet to announce a release date.
But Alfa doesn’t want us to think the 4C has gone under and released a new batch of photos of its sportscar in Launch Edition clothes. We’re aware that these pictures won’t keep enthusiasts busy for very long, but we’ll take anything Alfa Romeo has to offer when it comes to this cool, lightweight two-door vehicle.
As a reminder, the Alfa Romeo 4C will be powered by a turbocharged 1,750cc four-cylinder engine good for 240 PS (237 HP) when mounted to a TCT twin-clutch automatic transmission. Top speed is rated at 250 km/h (155 mph), while 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) can be achieved in just 4.5 seconds. Starting price is set at €56,000 in Europe, but the 4C will mark the automaker’s big comeback in the United States.
