The TSX sedan is Acura’s best selling car in the US market. However, not wanting to rest on its laurels, the company has brought further upgrades to the 2011 model. The list of improvements include exterior, interior and performance modifications, together with better fuel efficiency.

“The 2011 TSX offers even better looks, more owner relevant technology and class-leading fuel economy,” said Jeff Conrad, vice president of Acura sales. “In short, the best entry luxury car just got better.”

The car now sports a new front fascia, a deeper chin spoiler, new fog light garnish assembly and an updated grill. New taillights and an updated rear license plate garnish add more visual appeal to the back of the TSX. The 17 inch, five spoke wheels for the 2.4-liter model feature a machined lip on the face of the spokes, while the split 5 spoke 18 inch models on the 3.5-liter V6 are cast in aluminum.

The interior of the 2011 TSX brings a restyled center console, darker trim pieces, brightly finished door handles, an updated parking brake handle and new garnishes for the steering wheel.

The TSX sedan comes with two powerful engine choices, with decent fuel efficiency: a 2.4L inline four cylinder engine and a "torquey" 3.5L V6. Both engines have been revised to produce better economy and lower CO2 output. New automatic transmission programming improves the way the power is delivered to the road by allowing for Shift Hold Control during cornering. The gearbox also comes with “smart shift” functionality that allows for semi-manual operation when in Drive and Sport Modes.

The new model will be available from Acura stores starting November 23. The 2011 TSX with 2.4-liter engine will cost you $29,610 (EUR21,921) for both manual or automatic transmission models, while the TSX with 3.5-liter V6 sells for $35,150 (EUR26,022).
