The Ford Mustang remains one of the most sought-after cars out there. While the pony looks absolutely fantastic in tip-top shape, especially when the factory specifications are retained, it doesn’t necessarily mean that more unique transformations aren’t worth checking out.
And this is the case of the Mustang turned monster truck that you see here and which was built on a Ford F100 frame.

While it’s not yet clear if this was the engine originally installed on the Mustang, a 429-ci (7.0-liter) unit is now powering the monster, and the owner guarantees it sounds mean. Well, that’s not necessarily a surprise since the Mustang 429 itself is a beast anyway.

The transformed Mustang comes with an automatic transmission, but unfortunately, we’re not being provided with too many details on the upgrades performed on the car. What we do know, however, is that the police car body still comes with working retro lights and siren, and everything “runs and drives great.

So theoretically, what we have here is a Ford Mustang 429 police car someone decided to convert into a monster truck using a Ford F100 frame. This is one transformation that’s definitely worth checking out, though it goes without saying this isn’t necessarily the kind of car that can become a daily driver.

In fact, whether or not it can be used on the street is something that depends on each state, so make sure you check the local regulations before going out with this Mustang monster truck.

How much is the whole thing really worth? The owner says whoever pays $11,990 for this one-of-a-kind Mustang would be able to take it home, and by the looks of things, no other offers are accepted. If you want to check it out in person, the Mustang is parked in Virginia, but keep in mind the listing is set to expire in less than two days.
