So long as they live in the West (and not only), everyone knows what a Ford Bronco is, especially after the Blue Oval resurrected the moniker a little over two years ago to take another severe punch at the famous Jeep Wrangler.
The average Joe can probably tell you that a classic Bronco isn't that expensive, especially if you stick to an unmolested copy that would make for a fun restoration project. However, the one you see above is at the opposite end of the spectrum, as it costs the proverbial arm and leg.

As much as we'd want to keep you waiting to find out the price tag, we won't. We'd advise you to take a seat for this part of the story, as you'd certainly need it. Okay, are you ready to find out how much money you will have to fork out for it? That would be $112,900.

To better put that number into perspective, we will remind you that the modern-day 2024 Ford Bronco Raptor is an $89,835 affair, excluding destination, and it packs a 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 with 418 horsepower and many other upgrades over the rest of the range. The cheapest version that money can buy is the Big Bend, with its sub-$40,000 MSRP, so you could get TWO brand-new Broncos for the price of this 1966 copy.

It must have a serious engine under the hood, right? Well, yes, but it's no V8. In fact, it is a four-cylinder turbodiesel with a 3.9-liter displacement. The output is unknown, as the vendor hasn't said how much it produces. They do reveal that it uses a five-speed manual transmission to deploy the unknown thrust to the four-wheel drive system, adding that it features Fox shocks, American Racing wheels, and a few other goodies that should, in theory, justify the eye-watering price tag.

To its excuse, this 57-year-old SUV looks very shiny all around, which suggests that it underwent a full restoration. It has a black-on-black look and seems ready to venture onto some wild tracks with its new owner sitting behind the wheel. Sure, it may need some additional off-roading modifications to become even more potent off the beaten path, but as it stands, it is one bad@ass machine. Too bad it costs a lot of money.

Before wrapping it up, we also have to mention the odometer, and this is not a barely-driven vehicle. It has 65,608 miles (105,586 km) under its belt, so it has seen plenty of action over the years. This old-timer Ford Bronco is advertised here by Garage Kept Motors, so you know the drill if you want to make it yours. But would you really pay a six-digit sum for it?
