For the 2009 MY, the engineers from Husqvarna have fitted the TE 250 with a new chassis, which has been redesigned and reinforced where necessary, new wheel hubs, new graphics, new engine guards, a waterproof spark plug cover, and a new exhaust pipe heat protector. In addition, it comes with a high-end suspension package, composed of a Marzoccchi front fork and a Sachs progressive Soft Damp rear monoshock, which makes it one of the most agile machines in the Huskey family.

At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 249cc, single cylinder lump paired to a six-speed manual transmission.
