The 2002 MY Husqvarna SM 570 R sports a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 576cc, single cylinder engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission. It comes standard with a Marzocchi upside-down telescopic fork, and a Sachs progressive rear monoshock, which improves its cornering abilities, as well as its comfort level. In addition, a large, 320mm front disc brake and a 220 mm rear unit significantly reduce the stopping distance, and improves its overall performance and safety. It is addressed to riders who want a gritty supermotard, able to put a smile on even the most experienced of riders.
