When it comes to supermotards, the 2010 MY Husqvarna SM 450 R is a serious option to take into consideration. It comes standard with a 50 mm Marzocchi upside-down telescopic fork, and a progressive rear monoshock which increase its agility, as well as the comfort levels. In addition, it comes with wire-spoked wheels, which mean that, if fitted with proper tires, it can even tackle a wide range of off-road tracks.
At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 449cc, single cylinder lump mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Also, the Swedish engineers have fitted it with a race-derived Brembo braking system, which not only boosts its overall performance, but makes for a safer ride, also.
