The 2009 Can-Am Outlander MAX 500 XT builds on the acclaimed and proven reliability of the base MAX 500 model, adding in functionality and a richer array of features. The beefing-up consists of the added tri-mode Dynamic Power Steering system which makes directional control easier and less fatiguing even on rock roads and other difficult situations.
However, the upgrades are not limited to that: a new Visco-Lock auto-locking front differential was added, 12-inch cast aluminium wheels, a powerful BRP winch, Carlisle radial tires, front and rear bumpers and hand protectors are also included in the XT package.
Automatic transmission with high and low ratios, selectable 2/4WD and engine braking make riding the 2009 Can-Am Outlander MAX 500 XT a real pleasure. And when it's work time, the passenger seat can quickly make place for a cargo box if needed.
