APRILIA ST 125 (1984-1985) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 1984, the Italian bike manufacturer launched the Aprilia St 125, an entry-level small displacement motorcycle in its third consecutive production year wearing the same features as previous models.

The 1984 model came in the same shape and form as previous models, featuring the same technical, visual, and performance specifications without any modifications whatsoever.

The Aprilia ST 125 was a small displacement motorcycle manufactured by Aprilia from 1982 to 1984. It was an entry-level motorcycle best suited for young and inexperienced riders.

It was fitted with standard features, like a single headlight unit, an engine spoiler, a one-piece dual seat with a passenger grab rail, a center stand, a dual-sided swingarm, and seven-spoke aluminum wheels.

For suspension, the motorcycle packed a 32 mm Marzocchi telescopic fork on the front and a single shock absorber on the rear, providing optimum suspension performance and handling.

As for the braking power, the bike was fitted with a 230 mm brake disc mounted on the front wheel and a 160 mm drum braking unit mounted on the rear wheel, offering optimum braking performance.

The 1984 Aprilia ST 125, like previous models, was powered by a 124cc two-stroke single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with a 28 mm Dell'Orto carburetor, delivering an output power of 18 hp with a peak force at 8,250 rpm and 14 Nm (10 lb-ft) torque at 8,250 rpm.
