APRILIA Dorsoduro 750 (2013-2014) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Italian motorcycle manufacturer Aprilia released the Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 in 2013, a naked motorcycle in its sixth consecutive year of production that packed the same technical, visual, and performance specifications as the previous model.

The Aprilia Dorsoduro was a series of V-twin-engined motorcycles part of the supermotard class manufactured by Aprilia since 2008. The series comprised three models: the standard 750cc model, the later 1200cc version, and the final 900cc model.

The Dorsoduro 750 was presented at the EICMA Show in Milan as the SMV 750 Dorsoduro. It was based on the Shiver 750, sharing the same engine and frame but had a different suspension tuning.

The 2013 model had standard features, such as a small front cowl with a single headlight unit, a high-mounted front fender, a single seat, an under-seat-mounted exhaust system, and 12-spoke front and 10-spoke rear alloy wheels.

In the suspension department, the bike packed a 43 mm adjustable inverted telescopic fork on the front, an aluminum alloy swingarm, and an adjustable off-set horizontally mounted shock absorber on the rear.

As for braking, the motorcycle packed two 320 mm stainless steel floating wave discs on the front and a 240 mm stainless steel wave disc on the rear. The front was handled by four-piston calipers, and the rear by a single-piston caliper.

The 2013 Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 had its heartbeat set by a 749cc four-stroke V-twin liquid-cooled engine that delivered an output power of 92 hp at 8,750 rpm and 81 Nm (60 lb-ft) torque at 4,500 rpm.
