Tricana Moto Guzzi V65 Is a Saloon Bike We'd Totally Ride [Photo Gallery]
Mondego, for this is the name of the bike, started out as a Lario V65 machine, having nothing to do with the actual state of this stunning machine. Some say the Mondego maintains the generic lines of V65, but we'd say Tricana took the old Moto Guzzi the right way, as this custom machine simply shines.
We loved the extreme care Tricana showed for every detail and especially the new glitter of the rims, hubs, front end and even the menacing dull polish of the titanium Akrapovic exhausts.
While the V65 had a chunky rear section, the Tricana Motorcycles re-interpretation is a different beast, altogether, with the ultra-light, sporty tail and all the negative space left after the airbox went away.
The Mondego looks really vintage with the cafe-racer attire and lowered bars, and the MotoGP-style exhausts are probably the most amazing contrasting part of this bike. Custom old-school stitched leather seats and MotoGP silencers... who would have thought of such a combination?
