Meet EFI, the carbureted custom Royal Enfield Bullet Electra, the creation of a new English workshop called Old Empire Motorcycles.
The EFI was commissioned by a customer who wanted his 2009 Enfield to look like one of Rajputana's builds. Alec Sharp, the man behind OEM, thought there were many places where he could improve the overall design.

With the customer looking for a fat, chunky profile for the new bike, Alec swapped the 19" original rims with custom 16" ones thus making room for the beefy Avon tires. In order to level the bike and add the specific bobber style, he went for an USD fork and Hagon rear shocks now sitting on a custom swingarm.

A Hitchcock Motorcycles Amal MK1 Concentric carb kit boosted the engine, and new pipes with internal baffles were fabricated. A Harley-Davidson provided the tank, which was elegantly scalloped and received pop-up fillers, while the rear of the bike was also modified to receive the new seat pan.

Clip-ons came in place and microswitches now elegantly control the basic functions of the EFI, while all the wiring has been reworked and the electronics hidden in a dummy oil reservoir. Finally, forward controls have been attached. We cannot even begin to say how glorious the OEM EFI looks, especially with the huge front end and the rotor which now seems to dwarf the rim.
