Developed in-house by German tuning specialist Geiger Cars, the S550 Mustang on hand develops 709 horsepower (700 in American money) and 706 Nm (520 lb-ft) of twist. Based on the Euro-spec 2015 Ford Mustang GT fastback, the entire package (car included) costs no less than €82,900.
On the Old Continent, that sum of money also buys a Porsche Cayenne S Diesel or Porsche Macan Turbo. Nevertheless, it needs pointing out that the standard Euro-spec 2015 Ford Mustang GT fastback is priced at €40,000. After all, such monumental performance doesn't come cheap, especially if we're talking about an all-American muscle car with tons of character.

Speaking of performance, let's find out what's what with Geiger Cars' S550 Mustang tuning package.

Starting from the GT's 435 horsepower 5-liter Coyote V8, the German outfit bolted a supercharger on top of the V8 lump to achieve the previously mentioned output figures. Other than the blower, Geiger's engineers updated the 'Stang with a stainless steel exhaust system with valve control to achieve a deep burble.

An uprated cooling system, 3.73:1 final drive ratio with Torsen limited slip differential, Brembo brakes and uprated springs for the front suspension are added, along with a lowered ride height, better anti-roll bars and Y-spoke lightweight alloys.

Coupled to the six-speed manual transmission, the Geiger Supercharged Mustang can do the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) run in a mind-boggling 3.9 seconds, all the way up to a top speed of 305 km/h (189 mph). In terms of fuel economy, this kind of force-fed, tire-shredding performance doesn't come cheap for most of us gearheads: 20.8 l/100 km (13.5 UK mpg) city, and 10.1 l/100 km (27.9 UK mpg) highway.
