For 2015, the BMW F25 X3 received a facelift that can be easily identified by the headlights primarily as well as after opening the bonnet. Sure, the engines are better but what triggers your car buying appetite is still the design.
When it comes to that, tuners do a good job, even for the utilitarian brother of the much more stylish X4. If for the Sports Activity Coupe we understand the need for a better or more aggressive look, the practical character of the X3 makes it a little less likely to be tuned.

That’s why we were surprised when we saw this particular model being showcased at (where else) the BMW Dealership in Abu Dhabi. Truly, it is a bespoke model, dressed in that beautiful paint that resembles the Long Beach Blue hue we’ve seen for the first time on the new X5 M.

The base model was an M Sport xDrive35i version, fitted with a 3-liter inline 6-cylinder turbocharged mill as smooth as butter. It makes 306 HP and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque, and it’s one of the best units the Germans made lately.

However, the exterior was tuned with a mix of parts from various tuners. First, we have the M Performance side mirror covers made of carbon fiber along with the blacked-out kidney grilles up front. We started with them as they come directly from BMW.

Then, just as noticeable are the AC Schnitzer wheels in their trademark design as well as the Alpina front bumper air splitter that makes a big difference overall. Round the back, the exhaust’s tailpipes are also sporting the AC Schnitzer logo so you know this thing sounds mean down the road.

Overall, just looking at this car you know its owner doesn’t really care about social stigmas and frowning people and for that, we applaud him/her!
